About

My Qualifications

I hold a PhD in Linguistics from the University of Manchester, where I specialised in syntax and dialectology. My core certification in Teaching English as a Second Language (TESOL) has given me a deep understanding of how to teach English to non-native speakers effectively.

My Experties

My expertise lies in my ability to analyse languages at a deeper level, whether syntax or pragmatics. I’m strong in English, French, German and Spanish. I love teaching languages to both children and adults and have developed effective teaching methods based on the VARK model.

My Experience

I’m over 15 years old in language teaching and research. I have taught ESL English to students  in the UK, the United States and abroad. I have also researched language acquisition and language processing, and my findings have been published in numerous academic journals (PNAS).

My Projects

I am the author of ’The Power of Language: How Words Shape Our World’, a book (Academic Press) that explores how language influences our thoughts, beliefs and actions. The book draws on my research and teaching to offer insights into the power of language and how we can use it to create positive change.
