Professional Translator
Remote (Freelance / Contract)
We are seeking skilled and dedicated professional Translators to join our global network. As a leading language services provider, we deliver high-quality, accurate, and culturally relevant translations to clients across a wide range of industries. What You Will Do:
- Translate a wide variety of documents, including legal, medical, technical, marketing, and financial content, from a source language to your native target language.
- Ensure that the tone, style, and meaning of the original text are accurately conveyed.
- Localise content to meet the cultural and linguistic expectations of specific target audiences.
- Proofread and edit your work and that of others to ensure a flawless final product.
- Utilise industry-standard CAT (Computer-Assisted Translation) tools to maintain consistency and improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with our project managers to ensure deadlines and client expectations are met.
Who We Are Looking For:
- Proven experience as a professional Translator.
- Native-level fluency in your target language and exceptional command of your source language(s).
- A degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field is highly desirable.
- Specialised expertise in one or more subject areas (e.g., Legal, Medical, Finance, IT, Engineering).
- Proficiency with CAT tools (such as Trados, MemoQ, etc.).
- Meticulous attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality.
- Professional certification (e.g., ITI, CIOL, ATA) is a significant advantage.
Professional Interpreter
Remote / On-site (Freelance / Contract)
What You Will Do:
- Provide high-quality interpretation services in various modes, including consecutive, simultaneous, and whispering.
- Facilitate communication for various events, including international conferences, business negotiations, legal proceedings, medical consultations, and webinars.
- Offer services remotely via telephone (OPI) or video (VRI), as well as on-site for specific assignments.
- Prepare for assignments by studying subject-specific terminology and context.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to a professional code of ethics.
- Ensure seamless and effective communication between parties who speak different languages.
Who We Are Looking For:
- Proven experience as a professional Interpreter in one or more settings (conference, legal, medical, etc.).
- Native-level fluency in your target language and exceptional command of your source language(s).
- Formal training or a degree in Interpretation or a related field.
- Specialised knowledge of terminology in specific industries (e.g., Legal, Healthcare, Finance, Technology).
- Exceptional listening, memory, and public speaking skills.
- The ability to remain calm and professional in fast-paced or sensitive situations.
- Professional certification (e.g., NRPSI, DPSI, Court Certified) is highly valued.
