About Translations.co.uk & Our Services

Translation services involve professionals translating words from one language to another. These services are provided by bilingual or multilingual experts, known as translators, to ensure accuracy and cultural relevance.
We offer a comprehensive range of services, including Certified Translations (for official documents such as birth certificates, marriage certificates, academic transcripts, and legal documents) and Professional Translations (for industries including e-commerce, engineering, finance, IT, medical, travel, and website content). We also provide Interpreting, Localisation, and Transcription services.
A certified translation is an official translation of documents from one language to another, carried out by certified translators. These translations are required for all official and administrative purposes, such as immigration, court proceedings, and government-related tasks in the UK and internationally.
Localisation services involve translating and adapting content, documents, websites, and applications from a source language to a target language while maintaining cultural sensitivity and upholding the preferences of the target audience.
We offer language translation services into more than 200+ languages, including but not limited to Arabic, Armenian, Chinese, Dutch, English, French, German, Greek, Hebrew, Hindi, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Latin, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Tagalog, Thai, Turkish, Ukrainian, Vietnamese, and many more rare languages.
Yes, we offer a range of interpreting services , including telephone interpreting, business interpreting, and legal interpreting.
At Translations.co.uk, we assign a dedicated project manager to every project. As soon as you complete the payment, you will receive a confirmation email with your PM's details. Your dedicated project manager will assign a translator or subject-matter expert linguist with ITI/CIOL membership and at least 5 years' experience to translate the content. Throughout the process, you will have one point of contact.
Yes, you can check out our sample work on the sample page. Our samples have before-and-after examples, including certification stamps and details for reference. We redact all personal details to protect client confidentiality.
Whether you choose a standard or certified translation depends on your specific needs. Certified translation is usually required for official purposes, while standard translations suit personal or internal matters. We deliver certified translations in a non-editable PDF, signed and stamped on company letterhead.
For legal proceedings, commercial contracts, or administrative purposes, you might need notarised translations, where a Notary Public verifies and certifies the identity of the person signing the Certificate of Accuracy with their signature and seal. An apostille authenticates the notary's signature and seal, so your translation can be accepted in countries that are party to the Hague Apostille Convention, including the United States, India, Australia, and most EU countries.

For certified translations, we guarantee 100% human translation to ensure the highest accuracy and compliance with official requirements. For voluminous projects like websites, apps, and marketing materials, we use machine-assisted human translations to enhance efficiency while maintaining quality. We do not use AI for certified translation.
We utilise various translation technologies, including translation memory software (TMS), AI-powered machine translation software (MT), and Computer-Aided Translation (CAT) tools to streamline processes and ensure consistency.
Using our service provides access to expert linguists with relevant knowledge, ensuring accurate and precise translations that maintain cultural relevance and legal compliance. We offer free revisions, 24/7 support, rapid turnaround, and a satisfaction guarantee, providing peace of mind that your translated material will meet your expectations and those of authorities.
Yes, we recruit expert linguists and certified translators worldwide whose certifications are recognised by governments and official bodies, including ITI, CIOL, NAATI, Apostilles, and Notarised certifications.
We boast a 100% approval rate for our certified translations and a 98% customer satisfaction rate, reflected in our high ratings on Google (5/5), Trustpilot (4.9/5), and Sitejabber (4.9/5).
Yes, before sharing the final translated document with you, we follow our internal QA process where a senior translator and your PM check that the final translated version matches all your requirements.
If you spot an error after delivery, share your feedback, and we will revise it free of charge, as long as the change does not add to the original scope. Before delivery, our QA process includes a draft review and a final check by a senior translator and your PM.
When you place an order, we analyse your documents. With a single document, there is nothing to cross-check it against, so we share a draft for you to confirm names and dates before certification. If you share multiple documents, we review each one and discuss inconsistencies across names and dates with you directly. If you share specific instructions, we follow them strictly. For vital records, we check every name, date and seal against the original.
We follow the original layout so officials can compare your translation with the source document. For complex layouts, we offer Desktop Publishing Services.
For new clients, bulk translations, and specific projects, we create a bespoke translation glossary to keep terminology consistent. Our team also uses translation memory to optimise costs on ongoing work.
We keep your personal information confidential, from signing Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) with translators and interpreters to handling documents and transactions through secure, encrypted processes. Read our Privacy Policy for details.
You will get a non-editable PDF with the certified translator’s certification, basic formatting to help improve the readability of your translation, and a signature and stamp on company letterhead as required for certified translations.
